1. Who we are

Geek Vibes USA LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“Geek Vibes”, “we”, “our”), is the operator of Geek Hub (app.geekhub.mx) and is the controller of the personal data collected through the Service. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.

2. Personal data we collect

Identification and contact data: name, email, phone, company, country. Professional data: role, project type, intended platform use. Technical / browsing data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device, pages visited, and cookie-based identifiers. When you create an account: account credentials, API keys (stored hashed), and usage metrics (request volume, models invoked, costs).

Geek Hub does not knowingly collect sensitive personal data. Any sensitive data provided in error will be deleted from our records.

3. How we use your data

3.1 Primary purposes (necessary)

• Manage your waitlist signup and notify you at launch.
• Respond to information, contact and demo requests.
• Create and manage your account, issue and manage API keys.
• Bill you and issue invoices, including CFDI 4.0 for Mexican entities.
• Operate, maintain, improve and support the Service.
• Comply with legal, contractual and tax obligations.

3.2 Secondary purposes (require your consent)

• Newsletter, product news, and technical content.
• Invitations to events, webinars, and launches.
• Satisfaction and service-improvement surveys.
• Aggregate statistical analysis and experience personalization.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data based on (a) your consent, (b) the performance of a contract to which you are a party, (c) compliance with a legal obligation, and (d) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service. Where the GDPR applies, you may exercise the rights set forth in Articles 15–22. Where the CCPA/CPRA applies, you may exercise the rights set forth in California Civil Code §§ 1798.100 et seq.

5. Sharing with third parties

We share data with service providers we rely on to operate the Service: infrastructure and storage providers, payment processors (Stripe), the Mexican e-invoicing partner (Digifact), email delivery (Resend), and the LLM providers your requests are routed to (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta) under our processing instructions. We may also disclose data when required by law, a competent authority's request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Geek Vibes or others.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, port, and object to or restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email soporte@geekhub.mx from the address associated with your account, with a clear description of your request. We respond within 30 days (or sooner where required by law).

California residents:you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” (we do not sell personal information), and to be free from retaliation for exercising these rights.

7. Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw consent at any time through the request channel above. Some legal or contractual obligations may require us to continue processing for a defined period; withdrawal may also prevent us from continuing to provide the Service.

9. Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards: HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit and at rest, strong authentication, access logs, regular backups, infrastructure monitoring, and security updates. No system is fully impenetrable; we will notify you of significant breaches as required by applicable law.

10. International transfers

Personal data may be processed in the United States, Mexico, and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect data transferred outside your country.

11. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes stated here, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. Tax records are retained at least 5 years where required by applicable law.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy due to legal requirements, service needs, or changes in our practices. Updates will be posted at app.geekhub.mx/en/privacy. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
